While his extra heads made him a triply good guard dog, he did chew through a lot of sandals. This West Coast IPA is Emerson's triple dry hopped tribute to the hound of Hades. They've used four different breeds of hop, Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe and Mosaic, to create this boisterous mutt, with a fruit salad bomb of flavour. For years, Richard Emerson has had big plans to brew beers under the name 'Deafinition'. Unfortunately, these plans went off the rails. You see, Richard is easily side-tracked. And the culprit is, almost always, trains. So, while he's off doing the locomotion, Emerson's are brewing Deafinition beers for him. Chasing Trains is one of Richard's favourite styles. A barley wine that'll warm the palate, with fruity hoppiness, citrus and toffee flavours, and a wine-like mouthfeel. Yes, it's a real trainspotter's beer.
