The arrival of hops to the brewing scene in England in the 1500s led to a moral panic, hops were described as 'a Wicked, & Pernicious Weed', feared to bring the downfall of civilized society. Thankfully, they were right.

Original cult classic Pernicious Weed, now in delicious Yuzu flavour. Super sour fresh Yuzu zest and freshly squeezed juice collide head on with Nelson Sauvin and Rakau in a giant-foamy-super-golden-fruity-citrus-hop-bomb-explosion! It shouldn't taste this good, but it does.

Kiwi summer vibes. Pohutakawa Daze, crystal clear, crisp New Zealand Pilsner, brewed with NZ Cascade, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. Ultra clean with the perfect balance of sweet malt and snappy bitterness finished with bright citrus, white grape and passion fruit notes. Bring on the sunshine.

It's beer from back when malt mattered. Rain, Steam & Speed, English style IPA. Ripe juicy Maris Otter and chewy crystal lay down a foundation of rich malt flavour, supporting an assertive load of East Kent Goldings and Slovenian Celeia hops. Notes of toffee and fresh baked biscuits balanced with firm bitterness and floral, earthy citrus aroma. Sometimes you've got to get old skool.

Get your umlauts out! Röck Döts, kölsch. Brilliantly pale gold ale, brewed in the traditional Köln style, with crisp, sweet malt, balanced to Germanic precision with the delicate noble hop notes of Tettnanger & Saphir. Cleaner than a Mötley Crüe member, fresh out of rehab. Röck ön!

Turn up the heat at your pickle party. Pickle Beer, the Spicy edition! Naturally kettle soured, infused with cucumber, dill and pickle spice, fired up with a generous addition of red hot chilli peppers. Spicy, refreshing and disarmingly delicious. It's getting hot in here!

Here comes the sun. Sungold, Apricot Wit. Hazy, refreshing witbier, brewed with plump white wheat, infused with juicy apricot and fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Deliciously crisp, dry, lightly spicy wheat, balanced with sweet sun ripened apricots. Let the sunshine in.

Swifty is named after the Swiftburn stream that flows through Royalburn Station in the South Island's high country, where Garage Project's spray-free barley is grown. Brewed by the good folks at Garage Project, this is a Refreshing Beer. An uncomplicated, easy-drinking classic ale. You beauty.

A hidden valley of hops. Tutaki Haze, luscious hazy IPA, brewed with juicy New Zealand grown malted barley, wheat and oats and hops grown on the Nelson Lakes farm at the meeting point of the Matakitaki and Tutaki rivers. It's Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Riwaka like never before, loaded with ripe tropical mango, passionfruit and lifted lime citrus. Discover a new world of flavour.

It's an ice cold, clear classic. Volkspark Pils, German style lager bier. Brewed using only pure water, the finest pale malt and noble hops, then fermented with a German lager yeast strain. Cold aged for clarity, it pours with a dense white foam and a sweet, clean malt palate balanced with crisp bitterness and a delicate hop aroma. It's a beautiful day for the park.

It's Maths 101, Garage Project and Green Cheek style. 2+2=5, a massive synergistic mash up of hop and grape aromatics, blending Southern Cross, Idaho 7 and fat stacks of Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin with a huge hit of Phantasm Sauv Blanc powder. The result is a swirl of gooseberry, pineapple, tropical jasmine, Raro fruit and just a touch of what their friends at Green Cheek refer to as the 'Devil's Lettuce'. Definitely a collab that's greater than the sum of its parts.

From Upper Moutere's Freestyle Farm, Garage Project travel to America's Yakima Valley for their second hop harvest collaboration with East Coast brewing legends Trillium. A hop free boil and massive dry hop addition of hand selected Mosaic and Citra create a giant juicy hazy homage to the hop growing mecca of Yakima Valley.
