Epic's third collaboration with AJ Hackett for the NZIPA Challenge held at Smiths Craft Beer House in Queenstown. The rules for this challenge are to be a new beer using only New Zealand ingredients. Even though they haven't put it on the label Epic have used 100% organic NZ grown barley and organic NZ grown Nelson Sauvin hops. They wanted to make a tasty and delicious, yet highly drinkable beer which celebrates the best NZ organic ingredients they could get hold of. Even though it is hoppy, it isn't crazy hoppy like some of Epic's other beers. It is 7.2% and it still has a fair amount of hops in the aroma and flavour.

Epic have teamed up with the pioneers of adrenaline themselves - AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand - to bring Thrill Seeker to life. This is a 6.7% NZIPA packed with the most powerful hop combo in the game: Nelson Sauvin. Nectaron. Riwaka. Punchy aromatics of passionfruit, white grape, and citrus zest hit first, followed by a rush of ripe stone fruit and crushed gooseberry. The palate is lean and focused - dry, bitter, and bristling with energy. It's sharp, electric, and built to leave a mark. If someone beats it on the day, fair play - that beer's a beast.
